All of Saturday's three finals at Yonex Copenhagen Masters will feature Danish players. Two of them will be all-Danish clashes.
Men's doubles
Mathias Boe and Carsten Mogensen easily beat Mohd Zakry Abdul Latif and Mohd Fairuzizuan Mohd Tazari in their semi final today by 21-13 / 21-19.
In tomorrow's final they will face compatriots Mads Kolding and Mads Conrad, who in their match defeated the last minute pairing consisting of Russian Vladimir Ivanov and Indonesian Markis Kido by 19-21 / 21-12 / 25-23.
Men's singles
Local boy Viktor Axelsen was up against Thai Boonsak Ponsana in the first men's singles semi final of the day. Here the 19 year old Dane claimed the victory in straight games by winning 21-19 / 21-18.
The other semi final was won by Korean veteran Lee Hyun Il, who managed to beat Hans-Kristian Vittinghus, also in straight games. That match ended 21-17 / 21-18 in favor of the Korean.
Mixed doubles
The first match of the tournament today was a round of mixed doubles between Mads Pieler Kolding and Kamilla Rytter Juhl. They were up against Thai pair Sudket Prapakamol and Saralee Thoungthongkam, who the beat in three games. The Danes lost the first by 19-21 but came back in the second and third game and win them by 21-14 / 21-12.
In tomorrow's final they will face three time champions Joachim Fischer and Christinna Pedersen, who barely broke a sweat against Markis Kido and Pia Zebediah Bernadeth in their semifinal this evening.
