The quarter finals at Forza Denmark International have now been played. Here is a listing of the players who will play again later this afternoon

Twenty matches, twenty winners. That is the total of the first half of Friday's matches at Forza Denmark International. Later today, ten matches await, when the semi finals of the tournament are to be played.

Here, we bring you a list of the players who made it through to these semi finals. Some of the names are quite surprising and some of them are expected to appear in the programme for the second half of today's match schedule.

Qualification player lives
Young Anna Thea Madsen had the honour of delivering Friday's biggest surprise, at least so far. In her quarter final in the women's singles category, she managed to beat Karina Jørgensen, who was seeded to reach the final. Madsen won in three games, by 20-22 / 21-13 / 21-14.

In the semi finals, Anna Thea Madsen will face Nicola Cerfontyne of England, while Sandra-Maria Jensen is set to meet Kirsty Gilmour.

After the men's singles quarter finals, Rune Ulsing is the only remaining Dane in the category. In his quarter final he beat Mattias Wigardt of Sweden and will now face Brice Levardez, who beat Rasmus Fladberg in his quarter final.

The other semi final in this category will feature Henri Hurskainen and Gabriel Ulldahl.

Danes beat seeded Swedes
One of the biggest surprises in the doubles categories, was Danish Sara Thygesen and Camilla Martens beating Amanda Höström and Sanne Ekberg, who were expected to reach the final. The Danes won by 21-12 / 18-21 / 21-19. They will meat Gabrielle White and Lauren Smith in their semi final. Marie Røpke and Line Kruse are up against Thilde Iversen and Julie Finne-Ipsen in the other.

In the men's doubles, top seeded Anders Skaarup/Kim Astrup beat Anders Kristiansen/Frederik Colberg in their quarter final, which sets them up against another Danish pair in the semi final, namely Rasmus Bonde and Kasper Antonsen. Bonde and Antonsen beat Nikolaj Overgaard and Mikkel Mikkelsen in their quarter final. Christian Skovgaard and Mads Kolding will meet Peter Mills and Chris Langridge in their semi final.

Mads Kolding also features in the mixed doubles semi finals, where he and Julie Houmann are going for three in a row. They have met Danish opponance in their first two matches of the tournament, and in their semi final they are up against Rasmus Bonde and Maria Helsbøl. Line Kjærsfeldt and Kim Astrup will be facing Heather Olver and Peter Mills in the other semi final.
