When this years edition of Forza Denmark International starts off tomorrow, Wednesday, it will be with participation from the best Danish talents

The other big international tournament on Danish soil, besides of Yonex Denmark Open, is the impending Forza Denmark International. The tournament, which is played in Frederikshavn, and which has free entrance all four days, starts tomorrow, Wednesday, with the preliminary qualification rounds.

Besides of having participation from established top players like Marie Røpke and Line Kruse, Denmark is also heavily represented by numerous talents, who will try it out for an international breakthrough on home ground.

Several league players
Even though several of the Danish participants do not have the greatest amount of international experience, their level is not to be questioned, since many of them play for their respective clubs' first team in the Danish Badmintonliga. For example the TSS-match winner, Kim Bruun and the Solrød-talent, Rasmus Fladberg, who is seeded 6 in the tournament.

Additionally, Solrød Strand have many other talents participating in the tournament. Emil Holst, Mads Pedersen and Sandra-Maria Jensen are just some of the players who will try tof ight for the medals in the coming days.

Other league players will be found in, among others, Joachim Persson, Nikolaj Overgaard, Christian Lind Thomsen, Karina Jørgensen and Rasmus Bonde. So it is a solid, Danish line up that will be presented at Forza Denmark International.

European opponence
However, Denmark should not be so sure of winning medals, despite the overwhelming amount of Danish participants. Several European class players are also to be found in Frederikshavn, where, for example, French Brice Levardez is top seeded in the men's singles category.

Henri Hurskainin, who at the European Championships beat both Peter Gade and Viktor Axelsen, is also represented in the programme, and he is seeded 3 in the tournament.

Also VEB's strong men's doubles player, Zvonimir Durkinjak, is participating in Forza Denmark International. He is seeded 3 in men's doubles with his Croation countryman, Zvonimir Hoelbling.
