One Danish men's doubles and one women's doubles are trough for tomorrows main tournament at Yonex Denmark Open after winning their qualification matches.

Actually they had to win two matches in qualifying to advance to tomorrow's first round at the Yonex Denmark Open. But for both Rasmus Bonde/Anders Kristiansen and Line Kjærsfeldt/Sandra Maria Jensen it was enough to win one match. Both of their opponents withdrew from their final qualifier.

- Just before our first match we actually heard that maybe we should only win one game to advance for tomorrow, says Anders Kristiansen, and Rasmus Bonde explains.

- It's really nice to play in Denmark. The home crowd is cheering for us and of course it gives us an advantage.

Tomorrow  Rasmus Bonde and Anders Kristiansen meet an Indonesian couple, while Line Kjærsfeldt and Sandra Maria Jensen meet another qualification pair.

Danish defeats
But there were other Danes in action in today's qualifing matches.
Anders Rasmussen and Kim Astrup met a pair from Thailand, which proved to be too strong for the Danes. They lost in two sets.

The same fate hit Mads Kolding and Christian Skovgaard, who lost to Marcus Ellis and Peter Mills in their first qualifing match. Neither young Morten Bødskov and Jacob Staal passed the first round. They lost in a close three-set match against a pair from Malaysia.

In women's doubles  Mia Sejr and Sara Thygesen also saw their opponents run with victory as they lost 21-9 to 21-15 in their first match.

- We make too many stupid mistakes in the beginning of the second set and they are leading with quiet many points at the break, so it becomes very difficult for us to catch them, says Mia Sejr.

In women's doubles, Denmark was also represented by Celine Juel and Camilla Martens. They got only one match after loosing to a pair from Malaysia.

In mixed double none of the danish players made it to the main tournament for tomorrow
