Paaske and Rasmussen beat the Olympic Champions

They could not have dreamt about a better start against the Olympic Champions Markis Kido and Hendra Setiawan. The Danish pair won the first six points of the game, and the Indonesians could not fight their way back in the game.

And Markis Kido might be the reason according to Lars Paaske.
- He looked unshaped. I think Setiawan tried his best, but Kido didn’t seem ready. Maybe it was his knee, jet lack or motivation troubling.

Besides that Lars Paaske was satisfied with his and Jonas Rasmussens performance.
- We play better, than we are used to. We don’t feel like favourites, I think it is Kido/Setiawan and Boe/Mogensen who got to prove something.

Today’s victory means, they will play the young Malaysian pair:
- We were in trouble against them earlier this year. Compared to the Indonesians they use more of the court, so we have to work harder. But we have to win.
