In his two previous matches Jørgensen has got off to terrible starts and again today he had difficulties coming up with his best game in the beginning. He quickly fell behind by a couple of points and never managed to catch up with Santoso in the first set, which he lost 21 – 13.
The second set started out a lot closer, but again Santoso had the upper hand. Jørgensen was clearly frustrated with himself as he made way too many easy mistakes. Santoso played very well during the whole match and won the second set 21 – 13.
After the match Jan Ø. Jørgensen was very disappointed with his performance, but still was able to look back on a great tournament. “I’m very happy that I showed the Danish crowd how well I can play, but today’s performance showed that if I don’t play the best I can, I’m far from the top,” he said.
