The top seeded Peter Gade might not play the Denmark Super Series. He was injured during training last week and has not been able to play since. The medical staff is working hard to make Gade fit for his first round match against Wong from Hong Kong.
Last week Gade said he was excited to play at home ground and felt confident about a possible Denmark Open win – but it is not looking bright right now. The national head coach Lars Uhre is also in doubt about Gade’s participation:
- This morning he wasn’t able to play, but we’re doing the best we can to get him ready for tomorrow. It is important he isn’t doing his injury worse, even though he has been very excited about playing here at home. Watch live stream, click here
