In the first set the Dane took an early lead, which she managed to hold on to the entire set. She didn’t play a great set, but she never got into serious trouble. The second seed Dane won it by 21 – 15.
From the beginning of the second set the japanese took charge, but Tine Rasmussen kept fighting for the straight sets win. The Danish star won the second set 21 – 18, but was not at all happy with her performance.
