- Danish badminton is a superb exponent of what Denmark can achieve. Badminton makes fantastic results and is a strong ambassador for Denmark. We can transfer that message to tourism and we are delighted that the Danish national teams wear VisitDenmark on their chests, says Flemming Bruhn, acting CEO of VisitDenmark.
During the next week, the Danish national team will therefore act as ambassadors for Denmark in more than one sense. - We are proud to be elected as ambassadors for VisitDenmark and we think this co-operation has many perspectives. Our national teams travel all around the world and have made many great results. We are reining World Champions in mixed doubles, we have just won the World Junior Championships in men’s singles and by far we are the best nation in Europe. In that way we get positive attention on Denmark – and there will be some good synergy effects of this, says Charlotte Malmroes, CEO of Badminton Association of Denmark.

The Danish national teams are preparing for the Thomas & Uber Cup finals which start at Sunday the 9th of May for the men’s team and Monday the 10th of May for the women’s team.
