The Yonex Copenhagen Masters turned out to be a great triumph for Denmark. All four categories was won by Danes.

The first final of the day was as historical match, hence it was the first time ever that women’s double was played at the Copenhagen Masters. Kamilla Rytter Juhl and Christinna Pedersen won the entertaining final 21-18, 21-16 against Suci Andini and Tira Rosalia of Indonesia. This final allowed the Danish audience at the Falconer Hall for once to be partial today, because Andini and Rosalia was the only participants at the finals, who wasn’t Danish.

World class Boe and Mogensen won their fourth title
Mathias Boe and Carsten Mogensen is ranked number two in the world and they had only a little struggle winning the Yonex Copenhagen Masters for the fourth time, defeating the temporary double with countrymen Anders Skaarup Rasmussen and Mads Conrad-Petersen. The veterans won in straight sets 21-18, 21-15. The victory seals an extraordinary year for Boe and Mogensen. In 2014 they won three Super Series titles, claiming their spot amongst the world best men's doubles.

Axelsen did it again
For the second consecutive year Viktor Axelsen won the men’s singles. This year going up against Jan Ø. Jørgensen, the 20-year-old won 22-20, 21-9. A lot of long and exciting rallies created an amazing atmosphere in the Falconer Hall, where the audience was holding its breath during the rallies and cheering ecstatically after each of the many impressive ones. The first set was a close one, but in the second set it seemed that Viktor Axelsen was controlling the game.

Entertaining mixed double won by the favorites
The favorites Joachim Fischer Nielsen and Christinna Pedersen won their fifth consecutive title at the Yonex Copenhagen Masters, defeating countrymen Carsten Mogensen and Kamilla Rytter Juhl in the mixed double final. The last game of the 2014 Masters was also the first and only one to last three sets. One for each before the third and final one showed the Capital crowd in Copenhagen some entertaining badminton. 21-18, 14-21, 21-13 was the final score in favour of Fischer and Pedersen.
