The women’s singles final at Yonex Denmark Open tomorrow will be between last year’s winner Wang Yihan and her countryman world’s number one Li Xuerui.
The women’s single is dominated by China and that was also clear as they had three players in the semifinal. Wang Yihan was up against Wang Shixian in her semifinale, which started with a very close first game. But in the end Yihan proved to be strongest as she won the game 21-19. After that she controlled the second game, which she won 21-12.
Li Xuerui was up against fourth seed Sung Ji Hyun from Korea and she didn’t have many problems going in to the final. She won the first game 21-17 and the second 21-12. The final tomorrow will only be the second time the two Chinese meet this year. The first time was at Singapore Open where Wang Yihan won.
