The draw for the Yonex Denmark Open presented by Danisa is ready as we are moving closer to October 18 and the first round of the Superseries Premier-torunament.

Last year’s Yonex Denmark Open presented by Danisa finalist in the women’s singles P.V. Sindhu (6) from India is up against He Bingjiao who is number 11 on the world ranking.
In the men’s doubles Chai Biao/Hong Wei (1) have drawn Danish double Mathias Christiansen who is one the Danish Thomas Cup winners and his partner David Daugaard.
Home favorites Carsten Mogensen/Mathias Boe (2), champions from 2010, will face Chen Hung Ling/Chi-Lin Wang. Mads Conrad-Petersen/Mads Pieler Kolding (3) from Denmark will play Takeshi Kamura/Keigo Sonoda from Japan in their first match.
Jung Kyung Eun/Shin Seung Chan (2) are defending champions in the women’s doubles and they will face Chen Qingchen/Jia Yiafan. Meanwhile first seedet Misaki Matsutomo/Ayaka Takahashi have drawn against Setyana Mapasa/Gronya Somerville from Australia.
Kamilla Rytter Juhl/Christinna Pedersen (5), Yonex Japan Open winners and Olympic silver medalists, have to beat the German neighbors Johanna Goliszewski/Lara Kaepplein.
Last time a Danish player or a Danish double won the Yonex Denmark Open presented by Danisa title was back in 2011 when Joachim Fischer/Christinna Pedersen (5) was holding the trophy. To repeat the triumph, the Danish mixed double has to win against Pranaav Jerry Chopra/Reddy N. Sikki in the first round.
First seeded and defending champions Ko Sung Hyun/Kim Ha Na are facing Ronald Alexander/Melati Daeva Oktavianti and second seeded Tontowi Ahmad/Liliyana Natsir are up against Huang Kaixiang/Li Yinhui.
