Peter Gade is ready to go for the title at Yonex Copenhagen Masters

Boxing Day Tine Baun, the Danish men's doubles, Jan Ø. Jørgensen and Peter Gade trained prior to this year's Yonex Copenhagen Masters, and Gade is looking forward to the big show which starts out tomorrow evening.

- This year's Masters is a bit special, because we have a tight schedule at the moment. This means that it is good training towards the two big tournaments coming up in January. But even if we have a hard schedule, Masters is always something you as a Dane are looking forward to. It's also the mood of the Danish players this year, says Peter Gade.

Gade is favorite
In men's singles Peter Gade meets Rajiv Ouseph from England and the Dutch Eric Pang in the group stage and Gade is looking forward to play, and he is ready to be the favorite at Falconer.

- I am the favorite, but I’m not thinking about it. I want to enjoy the scenery. And I am sure that Viktor and Jan are hungry and if I stand in the finals, I'm sure that I will face one of them, Gade says.

Not the last Masters
Peter Gade has announced that his career ends after the Olympics in London, but the Danish singles profile says that it does not mean that Yonex Copenhagen Masters 2012 will be without him.

- I want to finish my career at the Copenhagen Masters. It's home, and it is the right place, so this year does not become my final Copenhagen Masters, says Peter Gade.
