Danes ready for battle
In men's singles Peter Gade is going for his 11th title at the Yonex Copenhagen Masters, but the young Danish talents are ready to beat Gade. Jan Ø. Jørgensen and the huge talent Viktor Axelsen are both in this year's tournament. And the Danish profiles cannot expect to take the title without a fight.

English Rajiv Ouseph will try to beat the Danes, and he has previously shown that he can beat them. At the World Championships in Paris the Englishman sent Jan Ø. out. Besides Ouseph Thai Tanongsak will be part of Masters at Falconer. The young players from Thailand have in recent years made enormous progress, and Tanongsak is one of the evidences of it. The last participant in the men's singles category is still missing, but it is expected that he will be announced in a short time.

Tight Women's Singles
Danish Tine Baun is the representative of Denmark, and Baun is going for her third title at Falconer, but she has some hard work to do. Thai Ratchanok Inthanon has shown that she is a player to be reckoned with in the future. The super talent who is just 16 years old has won the Youth World Championship for the last three years, and in 2011 she has among other defeated Tine Baun, the former world number one Wang Shixian from China, India Saina Nehwal and a more of the top players.

Another Thai, Porntip, is also a challenge for Baun. The Thai has in 2011 reached a semifinal in French Open, while she took the title at India Open. The fourth participant in the women's singles is the Chinese-born Dutchman Yao Jie, who for a decade has been in the top of the European badminton.

Yonex Copenhagen Masters 2011 will be played from the 27th-29th of December at Falconer in Frederiksberg.
