All Danish mixed doubled played their way trough the first round at Yonex Denmark Open.
The Danish Mixed doubles got off to a perfect start at Yonex Denmark Open. All three pairs won their first round games and is ready for tomorrows second round.
Mads Kolding and Julie Houmann were the first Danish mixed double to hit the green courts and they did it in style. They played against a couple from Thailand and won in three sets with 21-14 12-21 23-21.
- It’s a very good feeling for me and Julie to win our first round. We thought it would be a tough match, and it was a tough match, said Mads Kolding after the match

Dangerous Danes
Joachim Fischer and Christinna Pedersen are seeded to reach to semi finals and they got off to a good start winning their first match against a pair from Japan.
- Today we played well. Sometimes it’s hard to play the first round. We have been watching them since we played them last time in Japan, sp we were prepared for them today, said Christinna Pedersen.
Three in a row
Thomas Laybourn and Kamilla Rytter Juel compleeted the Danish hattrick by winning their game against the fourth-seeded pair from Thailan.
- We are really happy with the result today because it was a really tough first round, said Kamilla Rytter Juel.
