Badminton Denmark covers intensively from Yonex Denmark Open during the autumn holiday.



On Tuesday the first badminton shuttles will be smashed down the lines when the world's best badminton players enter Yonex Denmark Open. Badminton Denmark has launched several new initiatives to cover the tournament explains Trine Bay, who is communication director at Badminton Denmark.



- As something new we have our own studio during the tournament, and we are streaming live badminton from track 2 from Tuesday to Saturday. The games will be commented in english by Rasmus Bech, who is communication assistant at Badminton Denmark and Steen Pedersen, a former Danish national coach.



Good morning Denmark Open

You can follow the games from track 2 live on http://stream.badminton.dk/. On this site you can also listen to "Good Morning Denmark Open". The two commentators gives you an overview of todays games and states which games that is particularly interesting in today's match program. And while the last game of the day is being played, Rasmus and Steen opens up for "Good Evening Denmark Open" and summarizes the matches of the day.



Badminton Denmark has three writing journalists that covers the tournament with Web TV and articles to the website. The articles include both match reports and player interviews. And then there is the social media.



Denmark Open in Chinese

- We continuously update from the tournament on Facebook. Additionally, we place videos with player interviews on our YouTube channel, explains Trine Bay.



But Badminton Denmark also brings news from the tournament outside the western world. Badminton Denmark would like to inform about Yonex Denmark Open in China.



Trine Bay explains that Badminton Denmark is currently working with a Chinese exchange students in Denmark. He knows about the social media in China, and he will upload blogs from Denmark Open to one of China's largest social websites called qq.com.
