The Chinese won the two single matches and Korea won in all three doubles matches. The Womens Doubles was never played because of an injury to Zhao Yunlei prior to the match.
The finals at Yonex Denmark Open 2015 presented by Danisa started with the Mixed Doubles. The Korean pair Ko/Kim won against Ahmad/Natsir in three games. The Koreans were very happy and think the win will give them a boost for the upcoming challenges.
The next game should have been the Women’s Doubles but Zhao Yunlei had to withdraw prior to the game. She had an injury in her forearm/wrist. The Korean challengers Jung/Shin could claim the winners title after a walkover. In the Mixed Zone the pair proclaimed, that they have never had such an experience before.
After the double Prize Ceremony Lee Yong Dae/Yoo Yeon Seong won the title two years after there first win here at Yonex Denmark Open presented by Danisa. They were very happy but would not think about the Super Series Final yet. Their focus is on the upcoming events.
China wins the singles
It was a bit of a surprise that the Women’s Singles stood between Li Xuerui from China and P. V. Sindhu from India. Sindhu could not continue her brilliant performance from yesterdays semi finals. Li won in straight games and was very emotional after her win. She has had a tough year and the victory was a relief for her.
Last but not least the world number won Chen Long was playing to win his third title in a row at Yonex Denmark Open 2015 presented by Danisa. He did that by beating Indonesian Tommy Sugiarto in straight games. After the match Chen Long pronounced that he will be coming back next year to be the first person to win the title four times in a row.
A great event has come to an end and China can leave the country with two gold medals and Korea can show a total of three gold medals.
