It’s with great pleasure we can announce that Danish Speciality Food (DSF) – who owns the cookie brand Danisa – has chosen to extend their sponsorship cooperation with Badminton Denmark. DSF has signed new sponsorships with Badminton Denmark which they among other things will use to market more products.
Yonex Denmark Open presented by Danisa is at the moment taking place in Odense. The new name of the Superseries Premier tournament is an expression for one of many commitments Danish Speciality Foods has in Danish badminton and now they have decided to broaden their cooperation with Badminton Denmark.
Together with their strategical partner the Indonesian food manufacturer Mayora they shall now sponsor the Danish national team at the Thomas- and Uber Cup in 2016 and also at Sudirman Cup in 2017. In addition to promoting Danisa they will also use the opportunity to promote the coffee brand Kopiko. The Danish national team will thus be exposing both brands on their shirts. Some players will play with the Danisa logo and others the Kopiko logo. This counts for all events with the national team until Sudirman Cup 2017.

This proves that advertisement through our sport is a very good way to gain exposure at the big Asian market. “We already now see the positive benefits which our involvement in Danish badminton has given us and it was there for obvious for us to extend the cooperation with Badminton Denmark. The three World Championships for teams get big attention in Asia and it’s a very good place for us to show our brands. We are looking forward to continuing the good and rewarding cooperation with Badminton Denmark,” says CEO of Danish Speciality Foods Erik Bresling.

Danisa already sponsors several other activities in Badminton Denmark. The Cookie Company is title sponsors of Denmark Open, which from this year is called Yonex Denmark Open presented by Danisa; this arrangement also gives them the possibility of exposure through the Danish national coaches. Moreover, they have signed individual sponsorships with Jan Ø. Jørgensen, Hans Kristian Vittinghus, Mads Conrad-Petersen/Mads Pieler Kolding and Kim Astrup Sørensen/ Anders Skaarup Rasmussen.
