She won it in 2010. She won it in 2013. And last year the Chinese women’s singles Wang Yihan was very close to restate her succes in the danish Super Series Premier tournament, Yonex Denmark Open presented by Danisa. But her compatriot Li Xuerui was in the way in the finale.

Today she was back at the tournament in which she always makes dazzling manifestations.

An energetic display characterized Wang Bihan’s first round match against Yeon Ju Bae from Korea. Throughout the first game the six seeded player clearly had the upper hand, and with a dominant demonstration she won it 21-9.

The second game looked different, and the to Asians went together from the beginning to the end. But with a faltering perfomance from Wang Yihan the Korean equalized the score with crucial kills inside the baseline. Bae won the second game 22-20.

But then Whang made the difference in level clear with a solid perfomance in the final game. At the break she was up 11-8, and that tendency continued the rest of the match.

Wang Yian won it 21-9/20-22/21-12.
