Star Parade on the way to Odense

All the top players have signed up for Yonex Denmark Open 2011

If you are dreaming of world class names in Odense, so the dream is about to come true. The world's best badminton players have announced their arrival in Odense.

Mens Singles:
Lin Dan, Lee Chong Wei and Peter Gade. The list of star names is long, and several of future Danish profiles will also be part of the tournament. Top 10 in the world have signed up, and the local hope Viktor Axelsen will also be a part for the tournament.

Ladies Singles:
In women's singles, Tine Baun is about to defend the Danish colors. The talent Karina Jørgensen is also a part of the tournament, but it will be hard for the two Danes. The world top is like in men's singles coming to Odense and the Chinese girls should always be taken seriously. Former World Champion and Olympic champion is in the fight against Danish Tine Baun.

Mens Doubles:
The first 16 couples in the world are coming to Denmark. Among the many world class players are world champion Fu Haifeng/Cai Yun from China. Carsten Mogensen/Mathias Boe and Jonas Rasmussen/Mads Conrad are the strongest Danish names in a field with many Danes. Mens Double row is incredibly open and there is a guarantee of good matches.

Ladies Doubles:
The Chinese are favorites in the women's doubles, where Chris Pedersen/Kamilla Rytter Juhl and Line Kruse/Marie Røpke are the host country's best bet for a good result. The Chinese sends all profiles and for a non Chinese title, the other nations have to play their best

Mixed Doubles:
Incredibly strong and the first 19 in the world have announced their arrival. All profiles without exception are present. The former world champions and defending champions Thomas Laybourn/Kamilla Rytter Juhl and Joachim Fischer/Chris Pedersen is among those who are ready to go after the title.

- It's really great for badminton fans in Denmark that the big names are coming and I hope they back them up with a large audience. It is going to be hard to win. It will be the strongest tournament that we might ever have had.

Yonex Denmark Open is played in week 42 from Tuesday to Sunday.
The tournament is played in Odense Sport Park
There are draws for the tournament on October 4th 2011.
