Lydia Cheah defeated Yao Jie from the Netherlands 21-15 22-20 in an exciting and intense match. Yao Jie seemed a little bit injured, but both players were fighting for every point and the rallies were very close. At the end it was the Malaysian girl who won the match and showed why she is considered as a great talent in Malaysia.

Chance to take revenge
Lydia Cheah is now facing Tine Rasmussen in the final. She lost her first match here at Copenhagen Masters against the Dane, but she now gets the chance to take revenge.

Tine Rasmussen is big favourite to regain the title, but Lydia Cheah is ready to play her chance.
- You always have a chance so I will just play my best, and then we will see what happens, says Lydia Cheah.

It is her first time ever in Denmark and she loves playing in front of the Danish crowd.

Tuesday evening she will be back on the badminton court against the home favourite Tine.
