There is huge international interest in the Denmark Open. Despite the Danish dominate on court winning three out of five titles there have been full international coverage of the tournament. The Badminton Association of Denmark had invited journalists to come to Denmark and cover the tournament.
The three journalist had a meeting with Stina Willumsen from Odense Kommune and Gitte Vestremark from Sport Event Fyn. From rigth its Dev Sukumar, Ng Wei Loon and Agnes Wiranata.

The Indonesian newspaper is the largest English language paper in the country, and Agnes Winarti has published many stories from this week’s games. For an example she told the story about the Indonesian success having two spots in the final.
But besides covering the fellow Indonesians the Jakarta Post also got a story about an all Dane meet. The winner of this Super Series, Jan O. Jorgensen played Viktor Axelsen, and you can read about Agnes’ coverage of that game: ‘Danish young gun taken apart by senior’, click here.
