The last Danish pair to play tonight was Kruse/Schjøtt-Kristensen who played first seed Malaysians Chin/Wong. The topseeded pair took the first set by 21 – 16, but in the second set the Danes bounced back and played brillianty. Unfortunetely for Kruse/Schjøtt-Kristensen it wasn’t enough. After having missed three set points the Danes lost the set 22 – 20. Chin/Wong advances to the quarterfinals.

Helsbøl/Skelbæk lost their second round match against third seed Indonesian couple Irawati/Jauhari 21 – 15, 21 -13.
