It was the second and third seeded, but the match was never as even as it was supposed to be in the opening game Salakjit Ponsana was just superior from the first rally, and controlled Pi Hongyan. The little sister to Boonsak Ponsana was off to a flyer in the beginning and led 19-7, before Pi was allowed some points and ended up with the score line 13.

Pi Hongyan was not left behind in the following game, and was actually ahead 11-9. The two girls trailed all the way, but finally Salakjit Ponsana could celebrate her 24-22 win:

- I think I played good today, because I have never beaten Pi before, so it was my first victory, Salakjit Ponsana says, who likes being in Denmark:

- It is a good tournament, there is not much pressure as in a Super Series tournament, but it is a bit cold here I Denmark, she adds.
The Thai showed great skills in her defensive play and moved fast on court in Copenhagen. She will be a real threat to Tine Baun, when to two clash tomorrow evening in the final.
And Salakjit must feel confident because her last meet with Tine ended up good. She stunned the badminton world by beating Tine Baun on home court at Denmark Super Series earlier this season. And the Thai looks forward to play the final in Copenhagen:
- I will try to fight hard. I lost in Japan but won in Denmark, so I have the chance, Ponsana ended.
