Juhl/Laybourn won their first match against the world’s number two Natsir/Widianto from Indonesia 21-12 24-22.
They played a really good match and Kamilla Rytter Juhl was thrilled to be back on the court with her mixed double partner.
- It was fantastic to play with Laybourn again. In total we have only been playing three matches together before today, but we played really well. I have been looking forward to play here at Copenhagen Masters. It was just as great as expected.
Danes meat Danes
Tomorrow Kamilla Rytter Juhl and Thomas Laybourn are facing the other Danish couple Christinna Pedersen and Anders Kristiansen.
And even though the world champions are favourites, Kamilla Rytter Juhl is not going to take it easy.
- We have played Christinna a lot of times but never the two of them together. If they play well they can be able to surprise, says Kamilla Rytter Juhl.
