They have just returned from Hong Kong, where they celebrated a massive Super Series-win. And today Joachim and Christinna continued their great form. In the semi final at the Copenhagen Masters, they managed to beat Vita Marissa and Hendra Gunawan from Indonesia. Dressed in the color of hope the Danes showed no mercy against Gunawan and Marissa. Mostly the Danes had good benefit by offensive play and not even spectacular saves from Gunawan could make it for the Indonesians. The Danes showed they were filled with confidence and was helped on the way to the final by cheering crowd. 21-18 was the first game’s score after an almost-comeback from the Gunawan and Marissa. The Indonesians kept their good run from the end of the first game and did some damage to their opponents.

But Fischer and Chris ended the late night show in two straight games winning the last one 21-16 – and the spot in the final is truly important to the pair: - Actually we played really good today, and from the beginning we had a good tactic, Christinna Pedersen says while her double partner adds: - It was nice finally to play here and to play with Christinna, we have waited for a long time, Joachim Fischer says. He admits they will go for the title, but he won’t promise a victory. They don’t know who they prefer to meet in the final, but their opponents will be decided on Tuesday, when Mikkel Delbo/Kamilla Juhl and Sudket Prapakamol/Saralee Thoungthongkam will clash.
