The semi finale never really got close. Lars Paaske and Jonas Rasmussen didn’t make many mistakes and they were leading the whole match through. They won the first set 21-10.
Mak/Tan played better in second set. The rallies got longer and they started making more points, but it still wasn’t enough to keep up with the experienced Danes. Paaske/Rasmussen was leading 19-13 when Tan had to retire because of an injury in the ancle.
Facing Boe/Mogensen in the final
Earlier today Mathias Boe and Carsten Mogensen qualified for the final. It is therefore going to be a repetition of last year’s finale between the two best Danish men’s doubles.
- We always have some really close matches against Boe/Mogensen. We defeated them last year here at Copenhagen Masters and of cause we will do our best to do that again. But first of all we have to play with patience, says Jonas Rasmussen.
