Senior IT consultant for lead role in IFRS 16 Lease Management project prestudy
Time frame: October 2017 to March 2018 with optional extension to Dec 2018.
Location is Solna, Sweden with close cooperation with team members in Helsinki and other locations.
ConCor is looking for a senior IT consultant with good skills in SAP Finance and experience to drive an IT prestudy related to IFRS16.
We are starting an implementation project to be compliant with IFRS 16 regulation before Jan, 1 2019. ConCor’s client uses one SAP finance system for the Nordic countries,
while the Baltics use other finance applications. SAP Finance, asset accounting, PS, and MM is used, however IT in general is decentralized in the different countries and
lease information is probably spread among many applications/spreadsheet and business and IT organizations. As a prestudy phase is initiated, the scope is not yet clear and
business analysis of impact, interpretation of regulations and materiality is going on in parallel together with management consultants.
We are looking for a consultant to drive the IT part of the prestudy. As in all prestudies, the activities include scoping, capturing business and non-functional requirements, and
design of the architecture and high-level solution. In this project, an evaluation of IT software solution(s) needed will be needed – SAP Real Estate Management, SAP Lease
Administration by Nakisa and/or existing legacy applications are some of the key alternatives. The consultant also needs to help ensuring the business part of the prestudy is
addressing key questions timely in order to properly set IT scope and solution.
Requirements:
ConCor is looking for a senior IT consultant who can drive the prestudy IT activities within the project with little guidance and provide expertise in an SAP solution supporting the
IFRS16 requirements:
· Experience of SAP Finance and accounting proficiency
· Experience of SAP Real Estate Management, Lease Administration by Nakisa, asset accounting and/or contract management within SAP is a big plus
· Personal experience of lead roles in early project phases
· Must be a self-starter and a team player with excellent communication skills and proven ability being an agent of change, building productive partnerships with peers, both
internal and external.
· Several years of relevant experience integrating SAP-centered solutions across multiple functional areas in global initiatives, including experience integrating with commonly
used technologies across functions (e.g. EPM/CPM, Real Estate management, Asset management, PO, BW, .)
· Knowledge of IBM Cognos consolidation software is a plus
· Hands-on experience working in hybrid onsite/offshore team environments
· Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-moving environment, demonstrated agility and ability to quickly adapt to change
· Some travel to locations both domestic and international can be required.
