Accreditation Registration Process

The accreditation process for the IAAF/AL-Bank World Half Marathon Championships Copenhagen 2014 will be handled online.

The accreditation registration will open 21 January 2014. Only journalists and photographers representing print publications, web publications and agencies can apply for accreditation through this process.

Accreditation access codes are required to access the registration website. These can be obtained as follows:

Local Press and Photographers: To be distributed through the Danish Athletics Federation: henriette@copenhagen2014.dk

International Press and Photographers: To be distributed through the IAAF Member Federations. Applications should be made to the national athletics federation of the country where the headquarters of the media organisation represented is located.

International Agencies: Will receive the Accreditation Access Codes directly from the IAAF.

Deadlines for Written Press and Photographers

The Accreditation Deadline for Press and Photographers is 10 March 2014. Any request after the deadline, will be examined by the IAAF if is possible to be approved.

The Accommodation Deadline for Press and Photographers is 10 March, 2014. After this deadline, the LOC cannot guarantee a room in the official hotels, though it will do its best to accommodate requests.


Acceptance of Press Accreditation Applications

Once media representatives successfully complete their online accreditation registration process, the registration system will automatically send a message to acknowledge that the application has been successfully registered.

This acknowledgement is NOT a confirmation that the accreditation request has been accepted.

All requests will be examined in the following weeks.

Written Press and Photographers will be informed as early as possible, and at the latest by 15 March, 2014 whether their request for application has been approved.

A Confirmation Letter will be sent to all approved media representatives. This should be printed out and presented at the Media Centre in Copenhagen to collect your accreditation card.


For Broadcast - Radio and Television

Each Broadcast Rights holders Team Leaders should contact the IAAF Broadcasting Department at this address: television@iaaf.org

They should advice us of the number of persons they wish to accredit in order to receive a USERNAME and PASSWORD.
